Bandier Laser Cut Golf Capsule
The capsule explored how ready-to-wear lace and cutwork sensibilities could be translated into performance apparel through laser cutting. The goal was to create garments that felt refined and considered while meeting the functional demands of movement, durability, and wear in an active environment.
This required balancing aesthetic intention with technical feasibility so the designs could perform without compromise.
Working closely with development partners, I translated conceptual direction into production-ready solutions.
I led the development of laser cut applications across the capsule, shaping how pattern, placement, and garment construction worked together to support both visual clarity and performance.
Approach
The process focused on understanding how laser cutting interacts with stretch fabrics, seam construction, and body movement.
I developed cut patterns that echoed lace-like visual language while maintaining structural integrity, ensuring ventilation and decoration functioned as part of the garment rather than surface treatment.
