Hi, I’m Mónica.
I work at the intersection of aesthetic identity and product expression, helping brands clarify how they communicate through surface, color, pattern, and visual language.
Over the course of my career, I’ve collaborated with design-led organizations across apparel and accessories, contributing to print development, visual language refinement, and product direction. My work often supports moments of growth or transition, where clarity and alignment are essential.
I help brands understand what their visual language is saying — and how it can evolve with intention.
How I See the Work
I approach design as a language. The choices a brand makes across print, graphics, color, and detail shape how it is understood often in ways that are subtle but powerful.
My role is to help identify what is being expressed, where signals are strong, and where refinement can bring greater clarity. This perspective allows teams to move forward with confidence, ensuring that aesthetic decisions feel connected rather than fragmented.
I am particularly interested in how visual language evolves over time, and in supporting continuity as organizations grow and adapt.
Experience
My background includes working within fast-moving design environments where collaboration across teams is essential. I’ve contributed to seasonal development cycles, supported creative direction, and worked closely with designers and product partners to bring ideas into form.
This experience has shaped an approach that balances thoughtful perspective with practical involvement — engaging both the bigger picture and the work itself.

Ways of Working
I collaborate in ways that are responsive to each organization’s needs. This may include:
• Providing perspective on aesthetic direction
• Collaborating with design teams on print and visual development
• Supporting leadership conversations
• Contributing directly during key phases of product development
• Offering ongoing partnership as visual language evolves
My goal is to bring clarity while supporting the momentum of the work.
Alongside my professional work, I maintain an ongoing studio practice exploring pattern, composition, and visual rhythm.
This process deepens my sensitivity to nuance and informs how I approach questions of identity and expression within product environments. Working in this way reinforces an awareness of continuity and attention — qualities that support thoughtful decision making as brands evolve.
